How to get out of sign in and verification loop?

I Have purchased a tv show thru my Apple TV, and three weeks later after watching several of the show iTunes requires for me to sign in again, password, and verification code which are all entered correctly, just to start the process over again. Does anyone have a fix for this signin verification loop?

I have the older version of Apple TV and it asked me for the password but never asked me for the security code then complains that there is no security code refuses to take the Apple ID and then I start all over again there's no place to enter the stupid security code this is really making me mad I've spent hours trying to log in and putting the stupid security code in in every possible way I can think to put it in I put it in after the password with a space And that doesn't work I put it in with no spaces that doesn't work because of course it's not giving me any place to enter the freakin' security code I hate this.

We have this problem too. It started after we set up two-step authentication. We decided to turn off two-step authentication and were able to sign in after 3 attempts, but then we were required to put my 3 digit credit card security code. I'm not sure why that was required since I have never been asked to do that before, which made me a little suspicious. After that, we were able to watch the movie. When it ended, we got a message that our password could not be verified. At that point we just pulled the plug on Apple TV.
